Zed Zone description
ZED ZONE is a post-apocalyptic survival game where you build a base, craft supplies and equipment, and defend yourself against dangerous infected and other threats. Survival tools include workbenches, a lathe, pharmaceutical crafting, and chemical experiments, with more than 200 craftable items spanning food, medicine, tools, and weapons. Develop your character through Melee, Firearms, and Fitness training, unlocking skills via a PDA Terminal. You can also recruit companions such as Rangers, Medics, and Porters to fight, provide support, or scavenge, while a loyal dog can assist with exploration, watchkeeping, and combat.
Build and equip a post-apocalyptic stronghold with production facilities and electrical equipment, including generators, refrigerators, and energy storage modules. Customize weapons with attachments, spray paints, and decals, and prepare defenses using spike traps, electric fences, and explosives. The game features varied threats, from infected soldiers and mutants to robots and a giant mutant lizard.
Gameplay and features
- Customize weapons: Use four attachment slots—barrel, sight, stock, and shell collector—and choose from more than 40 attachments to adjust weapon performance and handling.
- Craft and build a base: Make survival essentials and develop a base with wells, storage, furnaces, and workbenches. More than 200 craftable items include food, medicine, tools, and weapons.
- Train skills and use PDA support: Progress through Melee, Firearms, and Fitness, with over 20 progression paths and more than 60 skills. The PDA also provides active combat support.
- Recruit companions and care for a dog: Hire Rangers, Medics, Porters, and other roles, then issue commands or send them scavenging. Feed and treat your dog, train it, and equip it with pet gear.
- Defend your shelter: Protect your base with wood or metal spike traps, electric fences, landmines, and homemade barrel bombs. Electrical facilities include generators and energy storage modules.
