Pacific Drive description

In Pacific Drive, you drive a station wagon through the Olympic Exclusion Zone, a surreal version of the Pacific Northwest filled with supernatural dangers. The car is your only companion, and your central task is to survive excursions into the Zone while investigating its long-forgotten mystery.

The Zone is an abandoned research site, with experimental remnants of the secretive ARDA organization scattered across it. Anomalies and otherworldly hazards—including silhouettes, scrap-metal formations and towering pillars of earth—complicate each journey.

Gameplay and features

  • Maintain and reinforce the wagon: Keep the gas tank filled and the panels intact, and make repairs during trips. You can upgrade and reinforce the car, adapting it to the dangers encountered on the road.
  • Scavenge and customize: Collect resources in the Zone to craft equipment and configure the wagon. Experiment with different mods and car parts to suit the treacherous landscape.
  • Evade Zone Storms: Zone Storms are powerful rolling maelstroms that tear up the landscape and destroy anything left in their path. Try to outrun one rather than remain in its way.
