Conan Unconquered description

Conan Unconquered is a survival real-time strategy game set in the world of Conan the Barbarian. The player’s central task is to build a stronghold and assemble an army capable of resisting successive waves of enemies in Hyboria. The assault grows more difficult over time, making the defense of the stronghold the focus of the game.

The game supports solo play and online two-player co-op. In co-op, both players work from a shared base, can construct buildings, and share research upgrades, walls, and structures. The game also lets players dedicate a temple to Mitra and summon the god’s large battlefield avatar.

Gameplay and features

Manage and defend the stronghold: Gather food, gold, wood, and iron to support construction, including housing, temples, and military barracks. Defensive walls can be fitted with traps such as oil cauldrons to hinder attackers.
Command troops and heroes: Train units and keep them fed and paid as the army grows to include forces such as heavy cavalry and sorcerers. Heroes, including Conan, have special abilities and can be equipped with artifacts found while exploring.
Explore beyond the walls: Maps are randomly generated, and exploration can lead to ruins containing treasure. Massive guardians may protect these sites, so players must defeat them to claim the loot.
Respond to battlefield hazards: Fires can spread through the stronghold, while fallen soldiers’ bodies can rot and spread disease. Necromancers may be able to use that situation to their advantage.
Pause to issue commands: Although play unfolds in real time, players can pause to issue orders or begin constructing buildings.
