Wreckfest is a full-contact racing game built around hard-fought races and vehicle collisions. Its central activity is driving in combative motorsport events, where cars can sustain visible damage under a physics simulation.

Car setup can focus either on protective equipment for demolition derbies or on engine performance parts for banger races. These options let players tailor their vehicles to the type of event they are preparing for.

Gameplay and features

• Prepare cars for different events: Customize vehicles for demolition derbies with reinforced bumpers, roll cages and side protectors, or fit engine performance parts such as air filters, camshafts and fuel systems for banger races.
• Race through collisions: The physics simulation supports vehicle damage during full-contact racing, including crashes and metal bending as cars fight for position near the finish line.
