Trick Or Eat

Trick or Eat is a Halloween-themed co-op game where monsters roam the streets and target homes. Respond to each knock before its timer runs out: reach the door in time to save the family inside, while children roaming the neighbourhood can help you locate monsters by screaming when they see one. Play alone or team up online with up to three friends. Choose from 16 classes, each with its own melee and ranged weapons, ability and passive. If you bleed out, your spirit can possess a monster and turn against your former teammates, adding a hidden threat to the run.

Runs pass through five procedurally generated neighbourhoods, with a boss encounter at the end of each, before a final confrontation at a haunted mansion. The game features dark comedy and light gore.

Gameplay and features

• Timed rescues: Monsters head for front doors, and each knock starts a countdown. Reach the home before time expires to save the family inside.
• Solo and online co-op: Play alone or join up to three friends online through Steam, using friends or quick match.
• Class choices: Choose from 16 classes, each with a melee weapon, ranged weapon, ability and passive. Class abilities include sealing monster spawn points and setting up trampolines.
• Possession after bleeding out: Bleed out and your spirit can possess a monster on the field, then attack your former team without revealing which ghoul you are.
• Procedural neighbourhood runs: Each run features five procedurally generated neighbourhoods and a boss encounter in each, followed by a final boss at the haunted mansion.
