Roadcraft description

In RoadCraft, you manage a disaster recovery company tasked with restoring sites damaged by natural disasters. Your work includes clearing debris, replacing faulty equipment, and rebuilding weather-damaged roads and bridges to help restart local industry.

Operations take place across eight maps in different regions around the world, each covering four square kilometres. The damaged sites include abandoned factories, submerged dams, and out-of-service solar fields, so vehicle itineraries must account for varied locations.

Gameplay and features

  • Manage vehicle convoys: Plot point-to-point routes on the map to direct transport trucks and logistics convoys through damaged areas, checking that obstacles do not block their paths.
  • Handle materials and rebuild routes: Operate more than 40 vehicles, including bulldozers and construction cranes. Manipulate wood, sand, and asphalt, construct roads and bridges across rough terrain, and recycle debris into reconstruction material.
  • Work alone or with others: Rebuild devastated areas solo or in cooperative play for up to four players, within an advanced physics simulation.
