Forged Battalion description

Forged Battalion is a real-time strategy game set in a climate-ravaged future, where a military force called the Collective has spread across the globe. As part of the resistance, you command battles while engineering a faction of your own, shaping its units, factories, headquarters, superweapons and economy. Battle resources and victories contribute to faction development through a persistent tech tree. Unlock components and use them to customize combat-unit blueprints, choosing options such as armour, locomotion, weapons and special abilities. The game includes a story campaign, skirmishes and online multiplayer, alongside tools for creating battle maps.

Gameplay and features

Build and customize a faction: Develop unit and factory blueprints, and modify your headquarters and superweapons. Choose weapons, support and locomotion types, then save faction designs for different situations.
Progress through a persistent tech tree: Victories across game modes contribute to technology upgrades. Unlock more than 60 attachments across four tiers, including options for armour, weapons and abilities such as stealth and regeneration.
Fight the Collective: Play a story campaign as the resistance faces the growing threat of the Collective, or take your customized faction into skirmish battles.
Play online: Join online cooperative or versus modes with up to seven other players, or compete in ranked 1v1 matches on dedicated servers.
Create battle maps: Use the map editor to make your own battlefields. The game also supports Workshop.
