Flame Keeper description

In Flame Keeper, you play as Ignis, a special coal tasked with freeing Orbis from the forces of darkness and restoring the Eternal Flame. Explore increasingly hostile biomes, face their distinct enemies and obstacles, and bring the energy you find back to each stage’s Fire Camp. Combat combines punch combos, fiery dashes, area-of-effect stomps and powerful finishers, with stamina management shaping how you approach fights. The energy gathered in each environment also serves as your health, so you must balance exploring and staying alive against using it to charge the Fire Camp.

Between levels, visit Vulpis Village to rest, enhance abilities, and rebuild or upgrade structures using collected resources. The village changes as you progress. Seeds from defeated enemies unlock skills, while completing specific tasks earns runes for passive abilities.

Gameplay and features

Combat and stamina: Use punch combos, fiery dashes, wide-area stomps and finishers against enemies. Manage stamina carefully as you adapt to each encounter.
Explore distinct biomes: Each biome has its own foes and obstacles, with challenges that grow more difficult as you venture onward. The Bestiary reveals information about enemy strengths and weaknesses.
Build Ignis your way: Collect seeds from defeated enemies to learn skills, and complete specific tasks to earn runes that unlock passive abilities. Mix skills and passives to shape different builds.
Balance energy and health: Energy found in each environment is both your health and what you transfer to the Fire Camp. Decide how much to spend charging the camp while keeping enough to explore safely.
Develop Vulpis Village: Rest and improve abilities in the village, or use collected resources to rebuild and upgrade structures. The village develops as you progress.
