Far Cry 2 description

Far Cry 2 casts you as a gun for hire in a war-torn African state, where malaria and the conflict between rival factions shape your struggle to make a home. To reach your primary target, you must deal with corrupt warlords and find ways to counter enemies with greater numbers and firepower. Explore a large open world, choose your own routes and take on side missions for information, weapons and vehicles. Your reputation and actions can affect enemy reactions, while fire and destructible surroundings offer additional ways to approach encounters.

Gameplay and features

Choose your approach: Exploit enemy weaknesses with surprise, subversion and cunning, or rely on brute force to overcome their superior numbers and firepower.
Fire and changing terrain: Wind and spreading fire can help surround or trap enemies. Molotov cocktails and flamethrowers provide ways to set the environment alight.
Open-world exploration: Roam a vast African landscape without loading screens and choose your own path through the environment.
Side missions and rewards: Take on more than 70 side missions to earn valuable information, new weapons and vehicles.
Reactive enemies: Enemy behavior can respond to your reputation and actions; some may drop their weapons and flee, while medics drag wounded soldiers to safety.
Multiplayer: Challenge other players in multiplayer, where the destructible environment and the game's single-player technical features are also present.
