Set three years after Atelier Ryza, the story follows Ryza and her friends as they reunite and encounter new events that lead to an important decision. In this edition, Empel and Lila also have a separate story of their own.

The Empel and Lila side story takes place before they reunite with Ryza, as they search for a gate to the Underworld. The edition also includes additional content from the original game, including outfits, maps, and recipes.

  • Explore as Lila: In the Empel and Lila side story, control Lila while exploring familiar areas and a new map.
  • Configure Custom Combat: Choose which monsters to fight and set their levels. You can also adjust monster behavior, battle speed, and other settings.
  • Receive Fi’s field support: Fi follows Ryza in the field, extends the sensor map’s range, and restores HP after combat.
  • Use expanded storage and options: The DX edition increases basket and container capacity and adds graphic options. It also improves Spirit Beast functions and graphics, updates the interface, and revises event-viewing requirements.
