Deep Space: Battle Simulator is a round-based, multiplayer first-person game about crews fighting to destroy opposing capital ships. Before each round, players can customize turrets, choose fighters for their hangars and select upgrades. During battle, the crew works together to maneuver the ship and manage its systems.

Combat can take place across capital ships, frigates and a space station, with interiors players can explore. The game also includes three optional single-player missions described as an introduction. Players can join dedicated servers or host games in-game.

Gameplay and features

• Crew and ship management: Move your capital ship in three dimensions, operate turrets manually or use targeting systems, and distribute energy among shields, engines, life support and weapons.
• Fighters and boarding: Launch smaller fighters from your hangar, or board an enemy ship and fight its crew while sabotaging systems such as generators, shields or engines.
• Customize your force: Choose among different turret and fighter classes, ship classes and selectable upgrades. Five player classes offer different weapons and abilities.
• Frigates and station objectives: Some battle sizes include frigates with explorable interiors. Frigates can dock with capital ships or the space station, which contains a capture point.
