White Noise 2 is an asymmetric horror game and sequel to White Noise Online. In each 4-versus-1 match, players take the role of investigators exploring an area together or control the creature hunting them. Matchmaking lets friends play together, with players able to choose a side or leave the choice to chance.

Investigators search for eight tapes while managing their sanity and flashlight battery. The creature stalks them, uses powers to avoid light, and can summon totems that warn of nearby investigators. If an investigator dies, they can return as a ghost and help the remaining team search. Characters and flashlights can be unlocked as you play.
