Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector description

Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector is a turn-based strategy game set in the 41st Millennium. Its Age of Crimson Dawn campaign follows Sergeant Carleon and his allies as they fight to purge a Tyranid infestation on Baal Secundus and defend the honour of the Blood Angels.

The Age of Crimson Dawn campaign has 20 single-player missions and explores the aftermath of the Devastation of Baal. Other options include Planetary Supremacy, a conquest-style campaign built from procedurally generated skirmish battles, and Daemonic Incursion, a single-player last stand against waves of Khornate daemons.

Gameplay and features

  • Customize forces in Skirmish: Choose a faction to command and an opposing faction, then select units, heroes and loadouts for your army. Skirmish battles take place on maps across Baal and offer Exterminatus, Conqueror and Strategic Command objectives.
  • Use Momentum and air support: Each faction has a Momentum system that can cause a unit to Surge, letting it chain actions or use the opportunity to upgrade abilities. Command Points also let players call in faction-specific air support.
  • Play with others: Battlesector offers live and asynchronous multiplayer, as well as hotseat modes.
