Red Matter is a story-driven VR puzzle adventure set during a dystopian Cold War. You play Agent Epsilon, an Atlantic Union astronaut sent to investigate an abandoned Volgravian research base on Rhea, a moon of Saturn. The mission begins as a covert recovery operation and leads into an investigation of the facility and the crew that vanished there.

The investigation takes place across Rhea’s hostile surface and the base’s brutalist corridors, underground installations and secret laboratories. Isolation and surveillance shape the setting as Epsilon searches for what happened at the research station.
