Steel Rats

Steel Rats casts you as a member of a biker gang defending Coastal City from an invading force of alien robots called Junkbots. Set in an alternate 1940s USA, the game centers on riding a weaponized motorcycle into the robot horde and protecting the city.

The four gang members have different backgrounds: one is a Boston-born biker and the gang’s leader, another grew up in Coastal City, a third is a Japanese-American mechanic and engineer, and the fourth performed with a German stunt circus.

Gameplay and features

• Fight from your motorcycle: Use close-range melee attacks and precise shooting, with weapons that include wheel-mounted saw blades, harpoon guns and flame-spewing exhausts.
• Ride, stunt and platform: Control the bike through stunt-bike racing, platforming and vehicular combat. Ride up walls, backflip beside buildings and attack while airborne or upside down.
• Switch between gang members: Choose among four Steel Rats and switch characters during play. Each has a distinct ability and weapon fitted to a custom-built motorcycle.
• Explore the levels: Search levels for collectibles, unlock new areas and pursue leaderboard rankings while uncovering Coastal City’s secrets and the mystery of the invasion.
