Anodyne is a 2D action-adventure set in the surreal subconscious world of Young. Its central objective is to help Young wake up, while exploring a dream world that includes dungeons in places such as apartments and hotels.

• Open routes through the Nexus: Explore fields, caves and dungeons, solving puzzles and defeating enemies to open portals in the Nexus that connect to other lands.
• Fight with a broom: Use Young’s broom to defeat enemies, and work through puzzles in multiple large dungeons and mazes.
• Find items and upgrades: Search for treasures and items that unlock deeper areas. Health upgrades help Young survive farther into the dream.
